A Wellington Wedding. A very pretty wedding was celebrated yesterday at the Church of Christ, Vivian Street. The., contracting parties were Mr. Len. Martin and Miss Mossio Oldham, eldest daughter of Mr. 11. Oldham. Thb bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming cream-..duchess Satin gown, trimmed with iringc and insertion, and the Usual wreath and veil. Sho carried a beautiful bouquet of roses and maiden-hair fern. Tho bridesmaid, Miss Madeline Oldham, sister to tho bride, was ftttircd in ft very becoming dress of tussbro silk trimmed with black satin. Her hat was of tho picture variety, and .she carried .'a shower bonquet of roses. -Mr.'Arthur Irines was best mail.

At a reecption .subsequently held in the Hotel Windsor, Mrs. Oldham, mother oz tho bride, wore a liavv blue costume,' and prctly hot to match j Mr?. M'Dohald, a brown dress,,and hat to; match; Mrs. J.-Parker, a navy silk and white lace; Jlrs. Tomlinson, a vieux rose satin goivn, and black picture hat; Miss Hobson, a heliotrope costume; Miss Mitchell, a green costume trimmed with cream lace; and Miss Woodgcr, a white muslin.' Many other pretty dresses were worn by remaining guests. Tho bride's travelling dress was of pnlo blue tussoro silk, and sho wore a hat to match. Preseuts wero numerous and handsome.

Wedding at St. James's, The wedding of Mr. S. H. Richardson and. Miss Jtssio M. Duck took place at St. James's Church, Adelaido Road, yesterday, the ceremony being performed by the Rev., W. Shim. The bride wore tho cu' c l om:\ry veil and a dress of white crystalline, trimmed with lace. The wedding breakfast... was given at llio 'residence of tho bride's sister, Miss Duck, on the Terrace.

A Blenheim Wedding. • A quiet wedding took place at the residence of the bride's parents, "Bewd-ley,"-Blenheim, on December 29, when Miss Lottie M. Brewer, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Brewer, and late head teacher of the Dalefield School, was married to Mr. Herbert I. Brewer, late of London. Tho officiating minister was the Rev. T. R. Richards. Simmonds, of Featherston, to Mr. Henry Toler Bryn, of Eketahuna. The Rev. Mr. Keck performed the ceremony. 1 Miss E. Newbiggen (Hastings) is visiting friends in Wellington. Colonel and Jlrs. Mr. and Mrs. F. Samuel havo returned from Picton, whero. they havo been tho guests of Dr. Redmond. Mrs. J. D. Wallace has from a visit to Auckland and the Waitohio Caves. . ' Miss Longford-is spending her holidays at Queenstown. Tho engagement is announced of Miss Esme Deane, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Deane, of Grant Road, to Mr. King. Miss M. Nash has gone to Rotorua for a holiday. ' Mrs. C. ICcorv, Hastings, is at present spending a holiday here. ' Miss Mary Wilson,-who has-bcen spend-' ing a holiday in Hastings, has returned to Wellington. Mrs. J. F. E. Wright and Miss F. Wright are spending a mouth at Rotorua. They leavo Auckland for Sydney at tho end of January. Miss Wright's marriage to Dr. Danby, of New South Wales, takes place in April.
