TO-DAY'S DINNER.
(Specially written for Tnn Dominion.) THURSDAY. . Veal and Unm pie. Potatoes Cauliflower. Rico fritters. ■RICE. FRITTERS. One cup of boiled rice, oiie cup of milk, two eggs, two tablespoons of flour, a pinch of salt, flavouring if liked (such as nutmeg, leincn peel), and a few currants. Beat the eggs find mix . the flour in with a little of tlie milk, and stir until smooth; add the rest of this milk, rice, and currants. Make a frying' pan hot, an;l put in about l!cz. of butter or good dripping. Drop in a tablespoonful ot tho batter, and fry until a nice golden brown on the under side;' then turn, and cook the other side.. Lift on to a piece of paper, which should, bo placed on a hot tin plate. Serve hot with a cut lemon.
