The' publication of the book was •prompted by QUEEN ALEXANDRA'S never-failing- sympathy for the Poor of the Kingdom. The proceeds of tho sale of the book were devoted to relieving the Poor of London. ~ • The value of tho book will increase as the years roll by, for it is historical as well as artistic.
