OLD AGE PENSION.
- -I ■ ■ _ TO BE PAID ON DECEMBER 31. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Rotorua, December 20. Sir. Joseph Ward, iu order to give old age pensioners the advantage of their pensions nt Christmas time, has arranged for the payment of the pensions on Dtv cernbcr 31. The pensions are ordinarily paid on the first of each month, and this course would have meant that .pensioners would have had to ivait until January 3 for their pensions. The thoughtful arrangement made by the Prime Minister will doubtless bo greatly appreciated by those concerned.
