Lovers of flowers are advised to mako a point of paying a visit to the Rose and Carnation Club's summer show which is being held in the Town Hall this afternoon and evening. To-day's show promises t) bo an excellent one. lii particular sweet peas and carnations expected to be very fine. Tho weather has been favourable and both these species are now at their best. With afternoon tea and a string orchestra, patrons are promised a very pleasant and instructive day.
