ISpecially written for The Dominion.) SATURDAY. ' Tripe and tomatoes. Potatoes. Red currant tart. V SUNDAY. ' Boast stuffed veal. Potatoes. Peas. Junket. Strawberries and cream. SUPPER. . Cold veal and ham. Salad. Summer pudding. Vanilla cream. , SUMMER PUDDING. Liije a pudding basin with wedgeshaped slices of light stale, bread, tilling all the .crevices with small pieces of bread. some fruit (raspberries, blackberries, cherries, blue plums, or damsons are best), sweeten 'to taste, and take out a small cupful of the juice; then pour tho fruit boiling-hot into the prepared basin. ! Cover tho top with pieoes of bread, over which pour tho cupful .of juice so that it may be saturated. . Sot a plate on top of'the basiu', which should ..quite-fully cover with a clean towel r.iid leave in a cool place for 24 hours: then turn out carefully, pour some whipped cream on< the top, or serve' with cream in a' jug. This is an excellent pudding and very wholeSome for children. .
