NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Wellington City Council, held on THURSDAY, tho 17th day of November,. 1910, it was reeolved as follows:— ■' I. Tho Wellington City Council hereby resolves by Special Order in pursuanco and in exerciso of the powers vested in it by "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," and of every other' Act and power enabling it in that behalf--/ ; 1. To accept a surrender of tho lease dated the third day of-March, 1873, Registered Number made between the Mayor, Councillors,. and Citizens of the City of Wellington of the first paTt, His Excellency Sir James Ferguson Boweu of the second part, and Ebonczcr . Henry Hunt of the third part, whereby the land commonly known as Section 122, Lambton Reclamation, City of Wellington, became vested in the said Ebenezer -Henry ■ Hunt, his executors, administrators, and assigns for the term of 42 years from the first day of January, 1872, at tho rents and subject to tho covenants, conditions,- and provisions in.the said le'aso contained;
and 2. To lease tho said land to John Fuller, Benjamin Fuller, and John Fuller, tho Younger, in whom the residue of the said..; term is now vested at the yearly rental of .£ll2 10s., subject as follows:— , (1) The surrender and now lease shall take effect from tho first day of January, -1913. (2) Tho term of tho new lease shall be tho unexpired portion of tho term of the surrendered lease. (3) The new lease shall ■ contain -a covenant for granting renewals in perpetuity at a ground rent to bo fixed by valuation for successive periods of fourteen years, and shall contain the same covenants, conditions, and provisions as are contained in the To' Aro Reclamation Leases, with this exception' that tho time limited for building, shall bo 1G months from the first day of January, 1911, instead of tho time usually prescribed. 11. Tho Council of the City of Wellington hereby resolves by Special Order in exercise, of the powers vested in it by "Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," and of all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf-.— To accept a surrender of a Lease dated tho 31st day of December, 1892, Registered Number' '6-1381,' of Section 119, Lambton R-eclnmation, granted by the MayoT, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington to tho Bank of Now Zealand, and to lease the land comprised in the said lease to the Australian Temperance'and General Life Assurance Society,-Limited, in which tho residue now to come and unexpired of tho term of years created by tho said lease is vested at a yearly rent of .£122 10s., payable halfyearly in advance, subject as follows:— (1) The Surrender and now lease to take effect as on and from the thirty-first day of December, 1910. (2) The. term of the new l«aso shall bo tho unexpired portion of the. term of the surrendered leases. (3) The new lease shall ' contain a covenant for granting renewals in pjrpctuity at a ground rent valuation for successive periods of fourteen years, and shall contain tho same covenants, conditions, and provisions (mutatis mutandis) as are contained in the To Aro Reclamation Leases now granted by tho Corporation, with this exception that there. 6hall bo no building covenant in tho new lease .to be granted. ■.
