SAILORS' REST.
The St. Patrick's Conference of the Society of St. Vincent do Paul gave their fortnightly entertainment m the Sailors Best last evening. There was a good audience, and the programme was a capital one. The'following were the performers, each of whom had to respond to encores: Mv. W. T. Scrimgeour, piano solo; Mr. J. Hines,'baritone song; Miss Rittenburg, song; Mr. D. Moriarty, recitation; Mr. C. Gamble,, recitation; Miss M. Barry, son:;; Mr. E. Healy, song; Miss V. Hickey,:-songs Mr. Cromarty, burlesque lecture; Master F. Walsh, song. Special features of the nrqgramme were the comic singing and da'neing of Master Norman Denties and Miss Daisy M'Lenuan, whose items were particularly appreciated by the 'seamen. The -accompaniments were played by Miss Sellc • and Mr. ■Scrimgeour. At the conclusion of the performance Captain Bonnet , , in returning thanks to thereformers, announced that no further concerts would bo-given until alter the holiday season had been' passed.
