AUSTRIA AND FROZEN MEAT.

RESOLUTION IN FAVOUR OF FREE ENTRY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Gopyriaht. (Rec. December 2, 9.40 p.m.) Vienna, December fe. The Austrian Chamber by 223 votes to 206 has adopted a'mo.tion in favour of the unrestricted entry of transoceanic meat. The debate revealed that the Austrian Government was bound by a secret agreement which did not permit it to import meat without Hungary's consent. Austria is now of opinion that Hungary sanctioned the importation of ten thousand tons of Argentine meat.. Hungary denies this, and says it agreed only to the importation of. two thousand tons. It is doubtful whether the Austrian Parliament's decision will result ia meat being imported.
