GREYTOWN NOTES.

The Inspector of Health reports two cases of infectious diseases in the borough at present. At a meeting of the Greytown Orchestral Society on Monday evening last, three now members were elected. At the usual meeting of the Moroa Water-race Committee on Monday last (Mr. A. M. Wilkinson in the chair), a petition was presented by Mr. J. Cotter to have the water-races that cross the roads covered in. The matter was deferred till next meeting. Tho overseer reported cleaning out the races, and erecting Uj groyne at the head works.
