WIFE'ACQUITTED FOR SHOOTING HER LATE HUSBAND. By Telegraph—Press Association—OopyriSht. . (Rec. November 30, 9.50 p.m.) Berne, November 30. Madame Remonda, a kiosk-keeper, who was fired at by her divorced husband in tho streets of Berne, and shot him dead with a revolver which she carried to protect herself against him, has been acquitted on the charge of killing her husband.
