. ■ -$_ —:— STORE DESTROYED, (By Telegraph.—Press; Association.) Auckland, November 28. Inspector Gullen received a wire tonight stating that Mr. J-. M. Katevitch's store at Kaiwaka had been destroyed by fire this morning. The building was insured for .£75 and the stock for .£250 in the Commercial Union Company. DINING ROOMS DAMAGED. ' At 20 minutes to 5 o'clock yesterday, morning the Fire Brigado received a call to 152 Ingcstro Street, where a twostoried wooden building 'was'ablaze. Tho building is occupied by Mr. Geo..How as "Ye Grateful Lion" Dining Rooms, and the owner of the property is Mrs. Grace, of Hawkestone Street. The building and contents wcro badly damaged. There was no insurance on the contents, but (lie building is covered by a policy of £350 with the Liverpool, and London, and Globe office. The fire originated apparently in the sitting-room, but the cause is unknown. . ■
