- (From Our. Special Correspondent.) Palmerston, November 22. The monthly* meeting of the. High School Board of Governors was held' last night, Mr,, W. N. Collirigwood presiding. Sir Joseph AVard intimated by letter that if he was iii the district at the time he would be pleased to attend the breakingup ceremony of the scliool. . The Terrace End School Committee wrote, suggesting that certificates should be given fo winners of the Cohen Shield essay competition, and it was decided-to adopt the sug-,. gestion, it being .left to the rector to approve a design. . The tender of Messrs. Sollitt Bros, to provide two hundred desks at J3145, for the now school, was adopted. The rector' reported that ho had pur- > chased 240 books for tho school library.
