FEILDING. About half-a-dozen Feilding hoys took advantage of tho excursion to Wellington .yesterday to inspect H.M.S.-, Powerful. There would have been finite a crowd from Feilding,. but there are' no train facilities to enable passengers to journey from Feilding to Wellington and back on tho samo day. , '.:- It is the intention of an animated picture proprietary to take a kinetnatograph picture of the projected Eoy Scouts' carnival and the arrival of 'the Governor at same. The pictures will be screened in the Drill Hall a few days later.

The Featherston . Milk Supply Association Factory was burnt to the ground on Monday night. The fire was first discovered at about a quarter past eight, and the brigade were quickly on the spot, but as thero was no water laid on from the town mains nothing could be (lone to savo the premises. The buildings, which contained-valuable machinery, including one of the latest refrigerating machines, and an oil engine, were completely destroyed. The origin of the fire is quite unknown.' The buildings had not been used since last summer. Thp insurances were .£7OO on the machinery, and <£300 on the buildings, both in the United Insurance office."
