At a largely-attended meeting of the Wellington Branch of the .New Zealand Locomotive Engine-drivers', Firemen, and Cleaners' Association, the following resolution was pagsed:—"That this branch tenders its most hearty thanks to the Government, tho Railways Committee, and to the hon. members of Parliament for their recognition of our association; also that this branch does all in its power to allay tho ill-feeling that lias arisen between the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants and the Engine-drivers', Firemen, and Cleaners' Association during our two years' struggle for independence."
