RESIDENCE DAMAGED.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) _ Nqw Plymouth, November 14. . A sis-roomed house belonging to Mrs, Gfayson, and occupied by Mr, Bennooh, was gutted by fire on" Saturday afternoon. The house was insured for J3150. in the Alliance, but tho loss is estimated at considorably over that, The furniture is uninsured. . It.is believed the oause of the fire was children playing with, fireworks. : ■'.'.."..
PIKE ON THE TEKRACE. At 8.23 o'clock last evening the Fire, Brigade received a call to suppress an outbreak of fire at No. 280 Wellington Terrace, The dwelling, which is of four rooms, is occupied by Mr. Frank H, Clarke, The fire was confined to. a bed--room, where some betiding had caught alight. The walls of the room were also damaged. The outbreak is supposed to have been caused by a candle setting fire to tho bedclothes, • .".... .',.
