LARGEST DRY DOOK IN THE WORLD. ■ ■HUGE UNDERTAKING. What is said to be the largest dry dock in the world has been practically completed at Belfast. The structuro is expected to be ready for commission in about a month, although the'formal opening mny not take place before the beginning of next year. Should it bo necessary, however, to dry-dock the mammoth new White Star liner Olympic, or one of the largest Dreadnoughts in the interim, Belfast will be able to provide accommodation such a 9 no other port in the world can give in tho way of dock room, equipment, and plant. The new dock is 850 feet long, but is capable of being extended another 150 feet. It is 100 feet wide on the floor and 42 feet 6 inches deep from coping to floor.
