' The business of the meeting whs taken in committee,, but, at its conclusion, an intimation was mado to tho press representatives to tho effect tllat in accordance, with the provisions of Section 42 of the Hutt Valley Tramway District Act it had been resolved to enter into, negotiations with individuals or companies prepared to instal a tramway system' in tho Hutt Valley tramway district.
