. Mr. Newton King's weekly stock report is as follows:—At the Ilaymarket on Saturday a good number of pigs were penned, and tho prices realised were slightly in advance of those of the previous week. Weanors, 6s. 6d. to 9s. 6d.; stores, 14s. to 19-3.; do. small, 10s. 6d. to 135.; porkers, 21s. to 265. At Urenui, on Monday, yearling steers made £2 19s. to £3 os. 6d.; yearline heifers, £2 195.; empty heifers, £3 IDs. to £3 195.; Btore cows, £3 125.; forward do., £4 Bs. to £5; two and ft half-year steers, £4 175.; three-year bullocks,. £5 155.; do. forward condition, £5 155.; springing cows, up to £7 12s. 6d.; springing heifers, £4 ss. to £5 2s. 6d.; bulls, £3 9s. 6d. to £6 12s. 6d.; fat and forward ewes andwether3, 13s. 7d. At Stratford, on Tuesday, yearling steers made £2 12s. Jo £3 65.; yearling heifers, £2 15s. to £3 93.; store cows, £3 12s. 6d. to £4 45.; forward do., £4 6s. to £5; fat do., £5 165.; empty heifers, £3 14s. to £4 25.; bulls, £2 14s. to £4; ewes and lambs, 13s. lOd. On the same day there was a good yarding of springers, aoid anything showing Quality was well corned for, but ordinary sorts were not so much in demand. as of late. Springing heifers, close up and showing quality, made £7 to £10 155.; later do., £5 to £6 155.; small and backward, £4 ss. to £4 155.; dairy cows, close up and at profit, £7 to £9 155.; later, £4 ICs. to £6 12s. 6d. At Stony River, on "Wednesday, there was a full yarding with good competition, everything yarded {with the exception of two or three lines) being sold at the hammer. Mixed yearling 6 made £2 3s. to £2 lis. 6d.; yearling steers, £2.155. to £3 Is.; yearling heifers, £2 17s. to £3 Bs.; .12 to 13months heifers, good equality, £3 l6s. to £3 18s. 6d.;. empty heifers, £3 12s. to £4 35.; store cows, £3 3s. to £4 2s. 6d.; forward do.,- £4 16s. to £5 25.; fat cows, £5 175.; fat heifers, £4 165.; forward-condition heifers, £3 17s. 6d.j two-year steers, £4 lis.; springing cows, £5 ss.'to £8; springing heifers, £6 7s. 6d. to £6; do. small, £4 Bs. 6d. to £4 10s.; three and four-year well-bred Shorthorn bulls, £7 15s. to £11. 155.; ordinary do., £3 ss. to £5 155.; grade Jersey bull, £7.
