FIRE ON A STEAMER.

A fire aboard the steamer Koombana, 3668 tons gross, belonging to the Adelaide Steam Ship Company, Ltd., was subduod after a considerable quantity of cargo—mostly wool—had been damaged by fire and water. The 'steamer was not damaged.
