A special men's service will be held, at 3.30 ofclook each Sunday afternoon, women's services on - ' Tuesday, Wednesday, and 'Thursday, at 3 p.m. The Sunday evening services will be in the Assembly Hall, and arrangements have been made to take tie same hall on the week-day evenings if the Churchroom should .prove .too; small to hold the congregations. The Rov. G. Mutter will-take the ■ children's services at 4 p.m. ( during the week. . ' ' " TAIHAPE. All the services on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday were remarkably well attended. The' open-air services attracted largo numbers. The , two-business, men's meetings held in the-town, at, the. dinner hour- received a ,splendid response, ad-, dresses on "Manliness" and "Work" being .given .by tho. vicar ;and the missioner. It 7.30,-each.,evening l a. goodly uumber of . communioants .attended the celebration of the Holy Eucharist,. The .weather throughout was fine,-excepting the concluding day, but the procession headed by Banner, Cross, and Torch, clergy and choir, accomplished.- their-, aim through rain ; and wind, singing the Litany. On the last night of the mission, when 1 the ' church ...was again filled. At the last celebration at 7.30 a.m. on Thursday it was pouring wet, but thirty communicants, were present. All the prayer and after meetings 'wero well attended,and eighty parishioners, renewed their baptismal' vows.. Five pounds was sent to ; the Bishop's thanksgiving Fund to provide a-permanent itiission for tho dio■cese.■■■ ,'■ lIAWEBA The Anglican Mission at Hawora, which began on Friday, October 7, ended on Thursda'yi October 13, with a celebration of Holy Communion at 7.30 a.m., when in' spite of the-.stormy weather there was a good congregation. All! the mission services liavo been very well attended,'and the missioner's addresses, whioh insisted on man's guilt arid . nfeed' of salvation, and pointed to Jesus Christ as the onlySaviour, wero listened to .with rapt , attention, and appear to have made a deep impression. An encouraging feature of the mission has been the good 'attendance at the services for men lieid in tho dinner hour on Monday, and Wednesday, when the missioner's subjects were: "Materialism," "Blessings of Christianity," and "Temptation." /Services were also, held in. the afternoons of these three (lays'at Molcoia and Norraanby, and wero we'll - attended.
