At the Manchester Unity Order of Oddfellows' centenary celebrations in this city, tho Grand Secretary of the Order stated that ■ the Commonwealth's total adult population amounted to 2,500,000, of ;which number 260,000 were connected with tho Friendly Society movement, whose funds totalled In New Zealand, added; the secretary, were 22,000 members, with funds totalling £600,000.
