.Dalgety and Company, Limited (l'alinerston North) state:—We have to,report having held a very successful salo on account of Mr. R. B. Knudsen, at his farm, Kairungu, on Monday. Tho dairy: cows,, which were a -very, good lot, and nearly all' in' millc, sold up to £16; the whole herd averaging ''the satisfactory figure of, £12 15s. 6d. The springing heifers sold up to- £8 10s.; and: a Shorthorn bull realised £5 ilOs, .White Leghorn fowls,' with chickens, went' up to 155., liens to 4s. 6d. each; ordinary fowls, to 3s. each; ducks, 2s..;each.
