In certain businesses the people,think that they are buying English of imported stuff, and it is. necessary that they should think so.' If they didn't they /wouldn't buy it." Mr. H. Clark stated that his firm would not object to the "made in New Zealand" brand, .though, some other firms did. It was ■ resolved; that a circular bo addressed' to members of.the association; drawing their'attention : to the Factories' Bill, and inquiring' as to its probablo effect on the particular industry of each.
