A SHEFFIELD DEMONSTRATION.

Resolutions were passed summoning the Government to grant facilities for the passage of a Bill remedying the awkward position caused by the Osborne judgment, which lays it down that a trades union cannot mako compulsory levies for political purposes. • Tho gathering also decided to make tho question a test ono at future-elec-tions.
