(Specially written tor Tub Doihf'on.) WEDNESDAY, Tomato Soup: Kissoles. ' Mushed- Potatoes. . Cauliflower. Apple Pudding. TOMATO SOUP. One tin of tomatoes," 1 quart of stock, 1 onion, loz. butter, '2 tablespoonfuls of sago. Pepper and salt to'tasto.-.' Put the sago into tlie stock and simmer gently until quite clfcar. Slice the tomatoes and onions and cook them in the butter until tender, about 20 minutes, then rub' them through a sieve, mix with . the ; stock, reheat, and season to taste. 26zs. of lean ham stewed with the tomatoes improves the flavour of this Soup.
FOR TO-MORROW. . One os heel, 1 bundle of leeks, carrots, turnips,' 2 eggs, jam.
