OBITUARY.
By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. , London, August 30. Tho death is announced of Colonel Sir Charles Bean Evan-Smith, K.C.8., C.5.1., at the age of 68. After .serving in the Indian Army, the deceased entered the Diplomatic Service, his last post being that of Minister Resident at Bogota, from 1898 to 1899. Allen Hill, the Yorkshire cricketer, is dead, aged 65.
