LIVE STOCK SALES.
Messrs. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on their Fcilding sale held last, week at) follows:—We had a heavy yarding of sheep, which consisted ehielly ,'of hoggets. Buyers were present from outside districts, and we were successful in quitting the whole of our entry under the hammer. We also had a fair entry of cattle. During the week we sold privately 2300 sheep and 50 head of cattle on account of dilferent vendors. We ouote:—Small mixed hoggets, Bs., Bs. 10d., to Bs. lid.; medium do., 9s. lOd. to Ms. 6d.; wether do., 135.. 13s. 3d., to 14s. lid.; ewe hoggets,-12s. 3d., 13s. 6d., Mb. 6d., Ms.- lid. to 16s. Bd.; ewes in lamb. 12s. to 12s. 3d.; ewes and lambs, 14s. Bd.; small two-tooth wethers. 13s. lid. Cattle: Yearling heifers, £2 Bs.; yearling steers, £2 10s.; heifor in calf, £4, £4 16s. 6d., to £5 55.; cows in calf, £3 18s., £3 195., £4 10s.. £6 10s!. £7 55.: fat cows. £6 ss.
