A magistrate has sentenced a Territorial, David Cunningham, to a month's imprisonment with' hard labour for disobeying his sergeant-major's drill order, and Drummer Jineath, of the Swansea Territorials, has been sentenced to fourteen' days'- imprisonment for impertinence-, to his captain. Some of' tho newspapers, in advocating compulsory service, suggest that the manoeuvres prove that the Territorials are. a failure, and that their knowledge, physique, and discipline are insufficient. . .
