It will bo seen, •that tile Itussian shipments for tho six months are less by over 13,000 cwt., but it is evident that heavy shipments wore made.in June. The German contribution is very-small,-while that from tho United States is microscopic. Both Germany and the United States aro likely to become importers rather than exporters in tho near future, and this should have a very Rood effect on market values. It is very probable that Germany is already drawing supplies from Siberia, and, if so, this would account for the decrease shown in tho above figures. The Customs r'evenuo collected at tho port of Wellington yesterday amounted to £1568 3s. 7d. •• ; ' "' TALLOW' SALES. By Telegraph-Press Association— Oopyrlirhl "'•• London, August 17.
