On the holders of tho Cross protesting against the Government's actions, some years ago, a committee was set up by the House, and in August, 1899, after sitting arid taking evidence for seven days, it reported that "Mr. H. C. AV. Wrigg was not entitled to the Cross." The same petitioners arc now asking the House to give effect.to that rßiwt. and to withdraw the decoration. "'
