QUESTION OP GOVERNMENT. .- (I«y Telegraph.—Press Association.! Dunedin, August 17. At the minimi meeting of the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Athletic Union il was unanimously resolved that a committee be set up to consider the desirability of forming an association for the government of professional athletics in the youth Island, this association representing societies and competitors. This was carried In preference to one moved by the president (Mr. C. K. Keast) that the Otago Centre secede from the New Zealand Athletic Union, and form a provincial district similar to that in -Auckland.
