YESTERDAY'S ADDITIONS. • A large number of subscriptions to Mrs. Wilford's fund for...the C.hildxen's Hospital were l-eceived yesterdayj: the day's additions amounting to something in tho neighbourhood of .£2OO. If anything like this rate is' maintained there will soon be ,£6OOO to the credit of the- 1 fund for the alleviation of the sufferings of the children.' Yesterday's list includes' the proceeds of offertories'. at.-. some of •" the churches, others having ioeen: notified on Sunday night. Tine event— the first of'its class at the Hutt—is atr. tra'ctihg 'a great deal:, of; attention,' and there is-bound to be-a good■ attendance. The programmer will.' commence., with a grand march, headed by ; thf: Eutt Rink Band : '(on skates),- and following there will, be skating in ; couples, jladies musical chairs,'a ladies' hockey match (Hutt v.
