Rinse, a saucepan with-cold water,! put in tho milk, and '■bring, -slowly to the.'boil. Mix " the ground rico with riv little cold milk, , pour-lover it the' boiling, milk, -and ro- -' turn to the'saucepan. Boil until thick. -Then,.add. sugar, butter, and .vanilla, ' and',when cool:, tho. beaten - yolks, add whites' beaten stiffly.
