Coghlan, replying to an article in tho "Westminster Gazette," apropos statements in Mr. Foster Eraser's book respecting the alleged deterioration of the British race in Australia, adduces arguments and statistics to prove .that the allegation is unfounded and the reverse of true. fllr. Fraser maintains that owing to Australia's climate, the third generation of British settlers.begins to show deterioration.!
