MR. LLOYD-GEORGE'S SCHEME. By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright. London, August 12. The Chancellor of the Exchequer (Mr. Lloyd-George) speaking at Dolwyddelan, Carnarvonshire, ■ Wales, said that he had already prepared a scheme and 1 raised the necessary money to secure against absolute want workmen breakii\g down before they had reached the age of seventy years. He hoped the allowance in each case would exceed 3s. weekly.
