THE SUMMER SHOW. The twenty-fifth Manawatu Agricultural and Pastoral Show to be Uelcl at Palracrston. How it is achieved may lie gathered ,by the very liberal', support afforded to tho live stock division,' the bulwark of 'tho. show. • ' Probably horses afford most'amusement to/tho.; general'public, attending the FalmorstoU' fixture. ' Tho sum of .£SOO, besides cups and medals, is scheduled fori tho horse classes. AH the. popular classes for saddle and harness horses and ponies are well catered for. The desil-e of the public to witness real: gooil hunting and riding events is attended, to. The' four ladies'.classes are.allotted and'gentlemen riders'i72. in three classes, with a fifty-guinea challenge cup. Cattle arc apportioned about JO3OO, besides the association's champion medals, the Ayrshire . breeders', champion . prize, and the association's special" champion prizes for. the dairy -breeds. V Sheep-are allotted. JB3OO in prizes,, besides the specials 0f..: Mr.; E. Short totalling. i£2oo, tho New .
