Blackbourn nleaded guilty to a breach of an Arbitration Court award in not keeping a' proper wages book_and not paying-wages weekly,, and was fined 20s. and costs on' each' charge R. Robinson; J. Barrell, and J. Marlow were each fined 10s.. and costs for disorderly behaviour-in tho Square on July 21. W. Foster and W, Saunders pleaded guilty to breaches of the Kairanga County by-laws, in carrying heavy loads on narrow-tyred vehicles, and were fined 10s. and costs each. A youth.named W. R.. Munro pleaded guilty to a charge- of forging the narna of J. B. Brown to a cheque for £i Gs/' on the Palmerston branch of the Bank of New South Wales and was remanded to the Wellington Supreme Court foiv sentence.
