Mooro aud William Brongh were killed in Ralph's Mine, Huntly, by a large fall of stone and fireclay. ■■ Mooro- and a miner': named , Ward were working on .1 stone drive. , Ward had moved n short distance, whea tho fall occurred, burying his mate a'nd Broiigh, who was trucking to them. Ward escaped unhurt. Moore was about 30 ; years of age. Ho leaves a wife and fivo children. Brough was a single man,.aged 25 years. He has a brother in the Nelson district. ' ' . . i UNUSUAL STREET ACCIDENT. - ; While walking past a.bnilding at tht' corner of Manners aud Cuba Streets yesterday afternoon, a man named' James Hill received a;severe blow on the head' through a piece of gaspipe, some four or fivo feet in length, falling down, from the upper part , of the building, where several workmen were employed. The injured man, who is employed at the Parliamentary Buildings, was taken to' Mr. Len.'M'Kcuzie's chemist shop, bleed-' ing from a wound on the heafl, and, after \ being bandaged up; was conveyed, to hiV home. ■ ;
