The. pair, are probably just what 'is' claimed 7 , for them— "the finest exponents ol...trick cycling that hav« ever been seen,in Wellington." An attractive feature of the programme at the King's Theatre this week is tho "Weekly Animated Gazette," a pictured summary of. the leading events of> a .week; It affords ground for some interesting speculation as to. the possible future- ' application of animated , photographs'. STAR -PICTURES^ A , very large audience witnessed the new programme of "Star" Pictures at St. Thomas's. Hall last.evening. The new series is a particularly good one , , and conspicuous for" the merit of the principal .item's. Of these .may be cited tho military study entitled nindcr the Stars and "Stripes,".. .the, iccne of;;' which is. Cuba during:the independence.' The incidents depicted are thrilljng enough, to satisfy tlir most adventurous: souls. ' Another fine picture is that depicting the' Livorpool Grand National Steeplechase, with' its brilliant.: finish, one of the, best race pictures..yet shown. An imposing study is , that"showing tho manoeuvres of the ''Belgian Cyclist Carj bineers. ' •" ST. MARK'S CHOIR CONCERT. , This evening St. Mark's choir will give their annual concert. The special feature of this concert is Sullivan's dramatic cantata, "On Shore and Sea," a work full of that melodic charm and graceful writing which is so marked a characteristic of this composer's works. .
