IMPORTING DOMESTIC SERVANTS.

Sir, —I notice that the doctors of this country are making a great squabble about importing servants to help tho overworked housowivcs .of , this city. As one who has a largo business experience I do not see where they are overworked, as they can' get down to the Opera House in double-quick style, and in. the latest fashion. They do not seem. overworked as a rule, these people with large families. I- might mention that the same people who say they cannot pay their rent can afford to take front seats in the dress circlo, etc., dressed in the' latest fashion. They do not seem overworked, and tho only thing that seems to trouble them is to see who can get to the Opera House in double-quick time. It is time the Government put a big tax on amusemeut firms.—l am, etc., INDUSTRY.
