FEILDING JOCKEY CLUB.

THE YEAR'S .OPERATIONS. (By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) Feilding, July 13. The thirty-first annual report of the Feilding Jockey Club, to be presented at Friday's nieetiug, is as follows:—Last year wo had to report a serious falling off in totalisator receipts, and it is now pleasing to record a considerable recovery in the investments for the year, although the- amount is still far below what it was two or three years ago. The revenue from all sources shows a satisfactory increase for the year, and had it not been for the large increase in Government taxation, a good profit would havo been made. As it is, the club's overdraft has been reduced by .£lO7, representing the net profit on the yeaT's transactions, which must be considered ■satisfactory. The season, from a racing point of view, has, we think, been quite successful. The balance-sheet shows that the net receipts from the totalisator were ,£3549 ISs. lid-; gates, etc., returned ,£1272 13s. 9d.; entry fees, .£1558; bookmakers' fees, ,£1199 10s. The stakes paid amounted to £aSIQ, and the Government tax to >£9H.
