THE COUNCIL "of the City of Wellington hereby gives public notice that such Council proposes to borrow (by way of Special Loan within the meaning of '"Tho Local Bodies* Loans Act, 1905," and its amendments?) the sum of .£IOO,OOO for the purposes horeunder set forth:— PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE LOAN IS REQUIEED. The work of duplication of the Main from the Waimii Reservoir to (lie City; the provision oi' a Distributing Reservoir, nnd the Construction of Bridges over the Wainui-o-M'ata River Tht- extension of tho Ihe Reticulation of the City and tho diversion of the existing main to New Hutt River Bridges .£20,000 .£IOO,OOO The Council proposes to pledge a Special Rate of one-seventh of a penny (1-Td.) in the .E on tho rateable vnluo (on the basis of tho liniin proved value) of all rateable property within the City of Wellington as security for the said Loan of .£IOO,OOO, nnd the Interest and Sinking Fund (if any) thereon. It is proposed that tho whole of the Loan shall be repayable at the expiration of a term of 25 years, computed from the Ist day of October, 1910.
