Discussing tho agreement between Russia and Japan (the basis of which is the acceptance of tho status quo in Manchuria), German and Austrian newspapers consider that the agreement will relievo Russia from fear of conflict in the Far East and tempt her to withdraw her troops from Asia in order to recover her prominence in Europe.
