LIVE STOCK SALES.
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having hold their fortnightly stock sale at M'aipukurau on July s, when they offered a lair yarding of sheep to a good attendance of buyers. liidding was spirited throughout, especially for ewes in lauib. They quote as follows:—Small 2-tooth ewes in lamb, lis. 7d.; aged ewes in lamb, lis. 9d.; sound-mouth ewes in lamb, 12s. lid,; empty ewes, Bs. M. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report:— At our llarton sale yesterday a good ciitry came forward. Cull ihixcd lambs, to 6s. 3d.; small lambs, to Bs. Bd.; wether lambs, to 10s. lid.; forward ewes, to 10s. Id:; fat and forward ewes, to 12s. <id.; mixed ago ewes in lamb, 10s., Id. to 10s. Ud.; s.m. breeding ewes, 12s. Id. to 135.; f.f.m. ewes, 13s. to lis. 6d.; 6-tooth ewes, to 14s. 3d.; 2-tooth ewes in lamb, 15s. 3d. to 1757,6i1.;' weaner steers, £2 Is.; backward dairy cows, £4 10s.
