MURDER IN A TRAIN.
PRISONER'S TRIAL BEGINS. EXCITEMENT IN NORTHUMBERLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Rec. July 5, 11.40 p.m.) London, July 5. Extraordinary interest is being taken in the trial of John Alexander Dickman, colliery secretary, for tlio' murder of Mr. Ncsbit, cashier at the Widdrington Colliery (Northumberland), whose body was found under a seat in a train in which he had been travelling with £370 in wages for the colliery hands. The streets in the neighbourhood of the court at Newcastle are crowded. Mrs. Nesbit, in her evidence, deposed that she was perfectly certain that s,ho had seen the prisoner.in tho'train with her husband. v
