SYDNEY SHEEP SALES.
NEW ZEALAND OFFERINGS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyriglit. (Rec. July 4, 9.35 p.m.) Sydney, July i. At th® Sydney sheep sales the grand champion ram Sylvander fetched 450 guineas. He was purchased for South Africa. A special stud ram, purchased Orange River Government, brought 410 guineas. Both rams wcro from the Gibson flock at Eskvale, Tasmania. In tho British breeds, sales were made on account of tho Moeraki Estate of 81 Lincoln rams, at an averago of £3 Is. 3d.; 20 ewes avoraged £i 3s. On account of Mr. Douthwaito (Waimato), 14 Lincoln ram hoggets were sold at au average price of 3J guineas, and five ewe hoggets averaged guineas. On account of Mr. Hay (Pigeon Bay), seven Dorset-ITorn rams went at an average of a guinea, and eloven Dorset ewca at an average of .£2 2s.
