. THE NINTH WEEK. There is no change in the, tEroe leaders in. the cpy-laying competition at Papanui; T. Kennedy's (Bangiora) silver ,wyandottes are still first,' G. H. Robinson's '(Christchurch) black orpingtons second, and the same competitor's white leg-horns third. The number of eggs laid during the week was 1131, which sent the total up to 9335. Clarke, silver wyandottes :.. 30 211 In the ducks' competition, a total of 638 eggs Ims been reached. The number for the week was. 78. W. Knight's (Hutt) No. 1 pen of Indian runners is still easily first, with a total of 187. W. A. Nixon's Indian runners, 129, are second, and T. Dowthwaite's Indian runners, 106, third.
