The recent disaster that bci'cll Count Zeppelin's new dirigible, Zeppelin VII, which had just inaugurated a passenger servico between Dusseldorf and Dortmund, has caused a revulsion of feeling against rigid frame airships.

Accounts of the accident state that the wind suddenly carried the Zeppelin VII 3000 feet high. Slio lost much gas, and suddenly fell witliin a hundred feet of the ground.

An engine fitter from Hohenstein attempted to light-en the car by springing overboard into a tree. He received bad internal injuries.
