' A Library Rate under tlio provisions of Section 90 of "Tho Municipal Corporations Act, 1908," of One-thirteenth of a penny (l-13d.) in the Pound on tho rateable value on the basis of tho unimproved value of all rateable property ■within tho City. _ HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID RATE. A Rato under the provisions of Section ■11 of "The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1909," of Twopence and One Farthing in the Pound on the annual rateable valuo on tho Valuation Roll on all rateable property within the Citj', such rate being required to meet tho contributions payable by tho Council to tho Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. WATER RATE. ... . Water Rate (ordinary supply) under the provisions of Section 83 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1905," as under:— On all land and buildings in the City used as dwelling-houses to which water is supplied—(a) Where tho annual .rateable value on the Valuation Roll does not exceed .£l2 10s., a rato of ten shillings; (b) where such annual rateable value exceeds .£l2 10s., a rato of 2J per cent, on such value. One-half of the respective Water Rates mentioned above on all land and buildings to which water can bo supplied but is not supplied, situate within 100 yards of any part, of tho waterworks, and on all buildings used as stores or warehouses or for any purposes other than dwellinghouses. Also, that all the above Rates will bo payable in two equal instalments- on the second day of JULY' and tho second day of DECEMBER, 1010.SANITATION RATES. NOTICE is also hereby given that the Wellington City Council intends to levy a portion equal to Seven Twenty-sixths of a Penny in the Pound on the unimproved value of the Special Rat© of One Shilling in the Pound (on the annual value) and a portion equal to One Twenty-sixth of a Penny in tho Pound (on tho unimproved value) on all'rateablo property in tho City as it was bounded prior to its amalgamation with the Borough of Melrose and on other portions of the City, being the lands described in the first schedule to "Tho Wellington (City) Suburbs Sanitation Act, 1893," which Special Rates were inude and levied under "Tlio Wellington City Sanitation Loan Empowering Act, 1892," and "The Wellington City Sanitation Loan Act, 1897," respectively for interest' and sinking fund for tho Wellington City Sanitation Loans raised under tlio said Acts, payable by two equal instalments on tho dates fixed in that behalf by the Special Order. making the said Rate, during the yearly period of tho years 1910 and 1911 covered by tho said Rate. CONSOLIDATION ' LOAN REPAYMENT LOAN BAITS—SPECIAL RATE. NOTICE is also hereby given that the Wellington City Council intends to lovy a portion,' One-tenth of a Penny in tho Pound, of tho Special Rate of One Penny and One-fifth of a Penny in the Pound on the Rateable Value on the basis of tho unimproved value of nil rateable property in tho City as it was bounded prior to its amalgamation with tho Borough of Melrose, for payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on tho Wellington City Consolidation Loan, 1876. Repayment Loan, 1906, of .£200,000 mado ■under "Tho City of Wellington Loans Consolidation Act, 1870," "Tho Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," and their amendments, payable in' two equal instalments on tho dates fixed in that behalf by tho Special Order making, tho said Rate, during the yearly period of the years 1910 and 1911 covered by tho said Rato. Council intends to levy a portion, equal to One-fifth of a Penny in the Pound, on the rateable value on the basis of tho unimproved valuo of all rateable property in the City, of Wellington as it was bounded prior to its amalgamation with tho Borough of Melrose of the Special Rate of Sixpence in the Pound on the annual valuo of such property for payment of interest on the City Improvements Loan of ,£IOO,OOO, payable by two equal instalments on the dates fixed in that behalf by tho Special Order making the said Rate,' during tho yearly period of the years 1910 and 1911 covered by the said rate. MELROSE IMPROVEMENTS LOAN ' . RATE. NOTICE is also hereby given that tho Wellington City Council intends to levy a portion (One-third of a Penny in tho Pound) of the Special Rate of Four-fifth's of a Penny in the Pound on the unimproved valuo on all property in that portion of the City lately included in the Borough of Melrose made and . levied under "Tho Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," and their amendments, for tho purpose of providing interest, sinking fund, and charges in respect of the Melrose Streets Improvements Loan of ,£33,500, payablo by two equal half-yearly instalments on the date.? fixed in that behalf by the Special Order making the said Rate, during the yearly period of the years 1910 and 1911. covered by tho said rate. OUTLYING DISTRICTS DRAINAGE LOAN RATE. NOTICE is also hereby given that tho Wellington City Council intends to levy a portion (equal to Five-sevenths of a Penny in the Pound) of the Special Rato of Ono Penny in the Pound on tho basis of tho unimproved value on tho rateable value of all property in the portion of the City which formerly constituted tho Borough of Melrose and the portions of tlio City formerly comprised in the Boroughs of Karori and Onslow, excluding from the samo tho portions of the Boroughs of Melrose and Karori, defined in tho first schedule to "The Wellington (City) Suburbs Sanitation Act, 1893," mado and levied under "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1901," and "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900," and their respective amendments mado! over the portion, of the City formerly comprised in tho Borough of Melrose, exclusive of the portion thereof defined in tho first schedule to "The Wellington (City) Suburbs Sanitation Act, 1893," and extended by "Tho Wellington City Empowering Act, 1908," . to the portions of the Boroughs of Karori and Onslow now included in the City, exclusive of tho portions thereof defined ill the first schedule to "Tho Wellington (City) Suburbs Sanitation Act, 1893," for the purpose of providing interest, sinking fund, and other charges in respect of "The Wellington City (part Melrose District) Drainage Loan, 1905," of .£IOO,OOO, pnyable by two equal instalments on the dates fixed in that behalf by the Special Order making the said Rate, during tho yearly period of tile years 1910 and 1911,covered by tho said Hate.
